Starting August 25, ShowingTime is adding an extra layer of security to member accounts with two-factor authentication (2FA). Here is what you need to know.
Who this affects
This change applies to members who sign in directly to ShowingTime using a ShowingTime username and password, whether on desktop or the mobile app.
If you access ShowingTime through your MLS and do not sign in with separate ShowingTime credentials, you will not be affected by this change.
What to expect
Beginning August 25, affected members will be prompted to set up 2FA the next time they sign in. From that first prompt, you will have 30 days to complete setup before 2FA becomes required to access your account.
Setup is quick and only needs to be done once. After that, you will simply confirm your identity with a one-time code each time you sign in.
