Installation Award Nominations

Join us as we continue a time-honored tradition of recognizing members of our Association for their exemplary service to our Association, community, and profession.  We are pleased to begin the Association’s REALTOR® and Affiliate of the Year award nomination process.  The recipients of the REALTOR® and Affiliate of the Year awards will be honored at our Annual Installation on December 7, 2024.

We are counting on you to participate in the nomination process.  We encourage you to submit your nomination for members whom you believe to be deserving of these awards.

Please use the links below to submit your nominees for our 2024 award recipients. The awards to be given are REALTOR® of the Year and Affiliate of the Year. Please be sure to hit the SUBMIT button for each individual application. The deadline to submit nominees is October 4, 2024.

REALTOR® of the Year Nominations

Nominations can be submitted by any TIGAR REALTOR® member in good standing.

Awarding the prestigious REALTOR® of the Year Awards has been a very welcome addition to our Installation Event.  We need your help in making this award possible.  You are invited to nominate REALTOR® members from any office whom you believe to be deserving of a REALTOR® of the Year Award.  The nominee must be a current REALTOR® of The Inland Gateway Association of REALTORS®. Nominees will be awarded points based on the following criteria:

REALTOR® of the Year Award:

• Association Involvement {Maximum Points – 50}
• C.A.R. Involvement {Maximum Points – 5}
• N.A.R. Involvement {Maximum Points – 5}
• TIGAR (or formerly EVAR) Events – {Maximum points – 19}
• Community Involvement {Maximum Points – 20}
• Actively in the Business {Maximum Points – 10}
• Professional Excellence – Training and Education that the REALTOR® takes on his/her own accord to become more knowledgeable.  Designations (Maximum Points – 5}
• Professional Reputation (REALTOR® who best exemplifies the REALTOR® spirit – high principles of integrity, adherence of the REALTOR® Code of Ethics and furtherance of the principles of real estate practice among brokers, agents and the general public

Nominations must be received by Friday, October 4, 2024.

Affiliate of the Year Nominations

Each year The Inland Gateway Association of REALTORS® honors an exceptional Affiliate Member with the prestigious award of Affiliate of the Year.  The purpose of this award is to recognize a member of the Association who has provided outstanding service to the real estate profession and to the community through their membership in The Inland Gateway Association of REALTORS®.  The Committee shall consider the following eligibility requirements and standards when selecting the Affiliate of the Year Recipient.

1. Nominee must be an Affiliate member in good standing of the Association.
2. Any Affiliate or REALTOR® member may nominate one or more candidates as Affiliate of the Year; however, the final decision will be at the discretion of the Committee.
3. In the opinion of the Committee, if there is no one deserving of the Award, no Award will be given.
4. The committee shall consider three areas to determine the recipient of the high honor:
   1. Service to the Real Estate Profession:  Consideration of significant contributions made to the real estate industry as well as examples of professionalism and ethical business practices.
   2. Local Association Activity:  Consideration of leadership positions held (i.e. committee chair/member), special assignments, seminar and education work, support of association activities and events as a volunteer or sponsor, etc.
   3. Community Involvement/Civic Activity:  Consideration of local, state, and national level participation in civic and service clubs, charitable activities, political action, fraternal or religious groups, etc.
