Helping Make Homeownership More Attainable for our Local Communities

Rising home prices and closing costs make it harder than ever for buyers to take the leap into homeownership. Through this grant, TIGAR is working to reduce upfront costs, support first-time and veteran buyers, and strengthen our local communities by helping more families build stability through homeownership.
By promoting this program, REALTORS® can:
- Help more clients qualify and close successfully
- Strengthen buyer relationships with real, tangible financial solutions
- Support housing affordability and a stronger local market
Who Qualifies:
- First-Time Homebuyers (as defined by C.A.R.)
- Renters transitioning to homeownership (haven’t owned a home in the past 3 years)
- Veterans utilizing VA loans
*Applicant must be represented by a REALTOR®.
